“usually”和“frequently”有什么區(qū)別?

usually 含“多數(shù)人都做的”、“習(xí)慣性發(fā)生的”、“多數(shù)時間里出現(xiàn)的”等意思;frequently 基本詞義則是“發(fā)生頻率高的”。

這兩個詞也有表達(dá)相同意思的時候,這就是特指時間上習(xí)慣性、經(jīng)常性的語義表達(dá),即 often 這個詞的詞義。

詞性都是副詞, frequently其實和often更接近,適合修飾強調(diào)次數(shù)多,頻率高的行為;usually如果翻譯成中文,應(yīng)該是通常的意思,強調(diào)的是動作的習(xí)慣性,和normally更接近。

實際上英文中的 usually 和 frequently 并不是同義詞,人們通常不會想到用這兩個詞互換。
