英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)作時(shí)怎么讓自己的文章變得更正式？

我教過(guò)不少中國(guó)留學(xué)生，盡管很聰明，學(xué)歷也很高，但是寫(xiě)作有同一個(gè)毛病，以至于無(wú)論是論文還是email訊息，都很難讓人看懂。

中文和英文的寫(xiě)作習(xí)慣完全不一樣，切忌把中文的寫(xiě)作習(xí)慣直接移植到英文，務(wù)必按照英文文法寫(xiě)作，其實(shí)很容易，不要不斷畫(huà)蛇添足，把簡(jiǎn)單的事情搞到極其復(fù)雜，甚至讓自己完全無(wú)法掌握。

中文寫(xiě)作似乎看不到真正的句子，一段就是一個(gè)長(zhǎng)句子，用許多逗點(diǎn)隔開(kāi)，整段的結(jié)尾讓一個(gè)句點(diǎn)做結(jié)束。當(dāng)初從西方引進(jìn)標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)的人顯然不了解標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)的用法，以至于在中文里面，句子幾乎消失了，與段基本合耳為一了。

英文寫(xiě)作的句子力求簡(jiǎn)潔，一句就是主詞動(dòng)詞受詞，頂多加一些修飾，絕對(duì)不可太長(zhǎng)，變成難以閱讀。
