回到ScaldingGallow，War把Griever的心臟交給了Samael。Samael似乎對War這段期間的行動聊若指掌，并且表示有朝一日War會再度與當(dāng)初擊潰他的Straga對上。

Ashlands

從排水管的缺口回到地表，先回頭把背后藍(lán)色水晶封住的寶箱打開再繼續(xù)行進(jìn)，前方就是黃沙漫漫的Ashlands。Ashlands的謎題大多以減緩時間的Chronosphere為解謎的核心，特別是黃沙之下徘徊的巨蟲，如果不減緩時間越過沙地，鐵定會被巨蟲吞噬。來到沙地，用十字刃啟動斜上方的Chronosphere后快速移動到沙地前方的巖地上，一路往前走會走進(jìn)一座小型的巖窟，里面有些零星的敵人。

從巖窟出來，玩家會再度回到沙漠，右手邊有一座鉆地平臺，上面有個Chronosphere，玩家要啟動這個Chronosphere減緩時間，才能平安抵達(dá)另一側(cè)的巖地。從右手邊的木板踏臺走進(jìn)鉆地平臺，再攀上壁面、越過天花板繼續(xù)往上走，就能啟動開關(guān)把Chronosphere降到下層，讓W(xué)ar能從巖窟出口用十字刃射擊。

到了第二座鉆地平臺，玩家會發(fā)現(xiàn)下層有個紅色水晶擋住，這里我們要將水晶炸開，將平臺上層的Chronosphere降下，才能繼續(xù)前進(jìn)。爬上鉆地平臺，我們會看到一個可以把Chronosphere降下的開關(guān)，別轉(zhuǎn)動它，先用十字刃啟動Chronosphere，趁時間緩慢時抓起炸彈從北邊的缺口往外跳，把炸彈丟到紅色水晶上，等時間流逝恢復(fù)正常后就能把水晶炸開。炸開水晶后上樓啟動開關(guān)把Chronosphere降下，然后站在下圖所示的位置啟動Chronosphere，趁時間緩慢時爬上西側(cè)的墻、攀過天花板（同樣要小心頭頂?shù)牡度校┖髲钠脚_的外墻繼續(xù)往上爬，繼續(xù)往下一座鉆地平臺移動。

越過刀刃后可以從這個位置往上爬。

到達(dá)最后一座鉆地平臺，啟動開關(guān)把Chronosphere往上升，然后循同樣要領(lǐng)啟動Chronosphere后越過天花板、避開刀刃之后從外部往上爬，可以抵達(dá)鉆地平臺的頂端。按下B鍵轉(zhuǎn)動開關(guān)，可以停止鉆頭運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)，露出底下的洞口。跳進(jìn)洞口、鉆進(jìn)水中（附近水底可取得一個Soldier神器），玩家會來到一段廢棄的隧道，上方有好幾只Goremaw虎視眈眈。

攀上水邊的巖壁，War再次回到地表。走進(jìn)西北側(cè)的山洞，出現(xiàn)了新的敵人──手持巨斧的Berserker。Berserker的砍擊威力相當(dāng)強(qiáng)大，還會拖著戰(zhàn)斧進(jìn)行沖刺劈擊，亂戰(zhàn)之中要隨時注意它的動向。這邊的戰(zhàn)斗分成兩個階段，除了Berserker和雜兵之外還有WraithScout攪局，適時使用憤怒技或涌泉劍陣的無敵時間可以讓戰(zhàn)斗輕松不少。

玩家可以用LT左發(fā)射鍵的鎖定功能觀察巨蟲的動向。

安全抵達(dá)沙地對面的巖洞，有趣的才要開始。往前走沒多遠(yuǎn)，又有新敵人現(xiàn)身，那就是手持碎裂炮（FractureCannon）的Devastator。Devastator會使用碎裂炮發(fā)射火箭攻擊玩家，雖然遠(yuǎn)距時玩家只要橫移就能輕松閃躲，但近身時Devastator會將碎裂炮**入地面，利用火箭爆炸發(fā)出的沖擊波將War震飛。

如果此處Devastator與Berserker的夾擊太過猛烈，附近有綠魂寶箱可以補(bǔ)血。

解決掉Devastator之后，按下B鍵撿起碎裂炮，接下來就是War第三人稱射擊秀的時間了。裝備碎裂炮時，按下RT右發(fā)射鍵可以發(fā)射火箭，火箭發(fā)射后會固定在目標(biāo)上、隔一段時間自動爆炸；如果玩家在火箭發(fā)射后按下LT左發(fā)射鍵，則可手動引爆火箭。碎裂炮火箭的威力極大，而且可以炸飛敵人或中斷對方的動作，玩家只要不斷發(fā)射火箭再持續(xù)用LT鍵手動引爆，就能大殺特殺、爽快度過這整個區(qū)域。

清光敵人后走到最高處，放下碎裂炮，從斷橋上方以影翼滑翔躍至對面，迎接War的是一座惡魔的競技場。隨著看臺上眾多惡魔的鼓噪，騎著尸骸戰(zhàn)馬的AbyssalRider從門后登場。AbyssalRider的沖刺砍劈威力相當(dāng)高，從正面沖來時要特別提防；不過話雖如此，War只要以憐憫射擊并從側(cè)面用范圍較大的鐮刀／渾吞劍攻擊之，AbyssalRider并不難應(yīng)付。打倒第一只AbyssalRider后，接連還有數(shù)波攻勢會接連襲來，而且陣仗越來越大，最后一波的攻擊里還會有兩只巨大的Trauma跳入場中進(jìn)行無差別攻擊。玩家若是陷入苦戰(zhàn)，可以將敵人引至地面上的熔巖噴發(fā)口，熔巖的威力可以輕松解決惡魔。

頭目戰(zhàn)：AbyssalGladiator

將場上的惡魔全部殺光之后，一名赤色騎士緩緩上前。乘著War原本座騎「毀滅天駒（Ruin）」的它輕蔑地向War挑釁，要看看少了座騎的他還能有什么表現(xiàn)。AbyssalGladiator的行動模式分成騎乘型態(tài)與步戰(zhàn)型態(tài)兩種：

騎乘型態(tài)

AbyssalGladiator騎乘毀滅天駒時會使用和先前競技場上AbyssalRider相同的騎馬砍劈，還多了一種投擲后會在原地噴發(fā)的能源彈攻擊。避開AbyssalGladiator的正面以閃避它的騎馬砍劈、看見它將手舉高的準(zhǔn)備動作時提防能源彈，只要作好這兩個基本的回避動作，再抓住它的行動空隙用憐憫射擊、用鐮刀／渾吞劍砍劈，就能將它從馬上砍下，進(jìn)入第二階段的步戰(zhàn)。

步戰(zhàn)型態(tài)

War用左手架開AbyssalGladiator的長劍，硬是一拳將它從馬上扯下，拋了出去。AbyssalGladiator一個翻身半跪在地，面無表情的War把劍踢向他，示意再戰(zhàn)。

步戰(zhàn)型態(tài)的AbyssalGladiator有二連橫斬（側(cè)閃、后閃拉遠(yuǎn)距離可避開）、跳縱斬（威力強(qiáng)

側(cè)閃可避開并還擊）、追蹤能源彈等三種攻擊方式，其中以追蹤能源彈最難閃避，必須在即將命中時輸入閃避指令才能避開，而且AbyssalGladiator通常會連擊數(shù)發(fā)，更加深了回避的難度。

戰(zhàn)敗的AbyssalGladiator慘遭War斬斷雙腿，再一劍貫穿軀干而亡。但受操控的毀滅天駒仍不斷攻擊War而令其重傷。War將渾吞劍**立于地，向毀滅天駒表示自己不愿與其再戰(zhàn)，在毀滅天駒進(jìn)行致命一擊時終于喚回了它的意志，騎士終于人馬合一。

尋回毀滅天駒之后，只要畫面右上方的天駒圖示亮起、出現(xiàn)按下LB鍵與RB鍵的提示，War就能召喚出毀滅天駒。乘著毀滅天駒一路砍殺并回到先前有巨蟲埋伏的沙地，War旋即進(jìn)入另一場頭目戰(zhàn)，與巨蟲AshTitan對決。

頭目戰(zhàn)：AshTitan

這場頭目戰(zhàn)的內(nèi)容很單純，騎著毀滅天駒讓AshTitan追著跑，趁它開口想吞掉War的時候用憐憫朝它外露的口器射擊即可。快被AshTitan咬到的時候可以按下RB鍵打開后燃器讓毀滅天駒加速，就能拉開距離并閃開AshTitan的攻擊。

將AshTitan活生生剖成兩半之后，朝北邊的出口前進(jìn)。抄起地上的碎裂炮把擋路的大小惡魔全部炸個粉碎、潛水渡過一個水坑后（里面有個Soldier神器）回到陸地，經(jīng)過Vulgrim傳送點(diǎn)的前方就是搞不清楚狀況的惡魔群囚禁Stygian的所在。

頭目戰(zhàn)：Stygian

隨著War一路狂斬惡魔，Stygian也掙脫枷鎖朝War猛襲而來。這場頭目戰(zhàn)和前面的AshTitan幾乎如出一轍，只不過玩家得操控War把箍住Stygian頭部的枷鎖打破，才能攻擊它的口器。騎著毀滅天駒與Stygian平行移動，如下圖所示騎到頭部的位置連砍數(shù)回即可打破枷鎖。

接下來的部分就和前面的AshTitan完全相同，Stygian雖然會召喚數(shù)只小沙蟲追擊War，但同樣以憐憫射擊并拉開距離就能輕松解決，剩下的只是時間問題。重復(fù)射擊數(shù)輪之后Stygian會不支倒地，依畫面提示上前按下B鍵即可結(jié)束這場戰(zhàn)斗。
