高迪從觀察中發(fā)現(xiàn)自然界并不存在純粹的直線，他曾說過：“直線屬于人類，曲線屬于上帝。”所以終其一生，高迪都極力地在自己的設計當中追求自然，在他的作品當中幾乎找不到直線，大多采用充滿生命力的曲線與有機型態(tài)的物件來構(gòu)成一棟建筑。高迪一生設計的建筑作品無數(shù)，其中有7處作品被列入《世界遺產(chǎn)名錄》，它們是圭爾公園（Parque Güell）、圭爾宮（Palacio Güell）、米拉公寓（Casa Mila）、文森公寓（Casa Vicens）、神圣家族教堂（Sagrada Familia）、巴特洛公寓（Casa Batlló）和圭爾住宅區(qū)的地下教堂（Crypt in Colonia Güell）。

高迪終生未娶，除了工作，沒有任何別的愛好和需求，神圣家族教堂是他最偉大的作品，他把一生中的43年都貢獻在那里，1925年還干脆搬到教堂的工地去住，全心全意研究教堂的結(jié)構(gòu)設計。1926年6月7日的下午，高迪完成當天的工作從神圣家族教堂到市中心的教堂做禮拜，被一輛電車撞倒，當時他衣衫破舊，路人以為是流浪漢，把他送到圣科雷醫(yī)院（Santa Creu Hospital），3天后去世了，大家才發(fā)現(xiàn)流浪漢竟是高迪。人們?yōu)樗e行了個很隆重的葬禮，送葬的隊伍從醫(yī)院一直緩緩地延伸到了神圣家族教堂，把他安葬在他未完成的神圣家族教堂的地下室。

安東尼·高迪的作品代表了19世紀末和20世紀初建筑和建筑技術(shù)發(fā)展的非凡和杰出的創(chuàng)造性貢獻。高迪的作品展示了與他那個時代的文化和藝術(shù)潮流密切相關(guān)的價值觀，代表了20世紀早期建筑中一系列杰出的建筑范例，無論是住宅建筑還是公共建筑，安東尼·高迪對這些范例的發(fā)展都做出了重大而創(chuàng)造性的貢獻。

巴塞羅那無疑是一個多元的都市，有著1000多年的悠久 歷史 和自己特色的文化和語言外，更創(chuàng)造出屬于加泰羅尼亞的典型建筑風格。

加泰羅尼亞新藝術(shù)主義建筑師路易·多梅內(nèi)克·蒙塔內(nèi)爾（Lluís Domènech i Montaner）對巴塞羅那建筑做出的兩大杰出貢獻，包括巴塞羅那的加泰羅尼亞音樂廳和圣保羅醫(yī)院是20世紀早期巴塞羅那富有想象力和活力的新藝術(shù)的杰作。加泰羅尼亞音樂廳是一個光線充足和空間開闊的鋼架結(jié)構(gòu)建筑，由當時的許多著名設計師裝飾。圣保醫(yī)院在設計和裝修上同樣大膽創(chuàng)新，同時也完美地適應了病人們的需求。

加泰羅尼亞音樂宮坐落于西班牙的巴塞羅那，由建筑師路易•多梅內(nèi)克•蒙塔內(nèi)爾（Lluís Domènech i Montaner）設計，興建于1905年到1908年，為現(xiàn)代主義建筑風格，于1908年開幕，為巴塞羅那最受歡迎的音樂廳。

加泰羅尼亞音樂廳（Palau de la Música Catalana），是目前世界上最精致典雅的音樂廳之一，音樂宮外墻根據(jù)民歌創(chuàng)作的組雕、舞臺拱門象征民族與古典音樂的群雕、背景墻上的繆斯女神等雕塑，以及彩色玻璃畫窗、無處不在的馬賽克拼圖和繪畫作品，把整座建筑組合為一件整體藝術(shù)作品。整座大廳最引人入勝的莫過于標志性的構(gòu)筑物：巨大的彩色采光玻璃天棚，它造就了歐洲唯一一座采用自然光采光的音樂廳。每年有超過50萬人出席在加泰羅尼亞音樂廳的各種音樂表演，每一場演出都是精彩無比，讓觀眾贊嘆不已。

圣保羅醫(yī)院（Hospital de Sant Pau）位于巴塞羅那以北2千米處，是一個矩形建筑物，占地面積達36000平方米，醫(yī)院中可容納的病人數(shù)多達1000人，平均每個病人占據(jù)145．5平方米的空間。圣保羅醫(yī)院建于19世紀末20世紀初，巴塞羅納圣保羅醫(yī)院在于整個建筑群的建筑材料及裝飾材料獨具匠心的巧妙而完美地融合。醫(yī)院的主樓像一座哥特式教堂，建有高高的塔樓，頗具拯救生靈的意味。這兩座建筑全部為鋼結(jié)構(gòu)，光線與空間的組合和諧完美，并由當時最杰出的裝飾家裝飾，醫(yī)院的設計和裝飾不僅美觀，而且實用，極大地滿足了病人的需求。

巴塞羅那位于西班牙東北部的地中海岸，遠遠望去是無盡的、廣袤的、壯麗的海景，海岸金**的沙灘在陽光下閃爍發(fā)光。巴塞羅那的風情萬種，盡在熱情浪漫的海灘，海灘上的人群絡繹不絕、來來往往，各種情愫在此蔓延交織，彌漫在空氣中是滿滿的浪漫氣息。在巴塞羅那的黃金海岸，每年有數(shù)千萬游客邂逅于此，感受這里的慢生活。

巴塞羅那音樂噴泉位于巴塞羅那市區(qū)，在東南郊蒙錐克山丘（Montjuich）上的國家宮 ，有一座以色彩多變而聞名于世的音樂噴泉。這就是西班牙廣場的蒙特伊克噴（La Font Màgica），也叫魔幻噴泉。巴塞羅那音樂噴泉是歐洲第一大和世界第二大噴泉。這座噴泉是1929年巴塞羅那世博會工程中的一個項目，但世博會后一直保持至今，現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)成為了巴塞羅那重要的 旅游 景點之一。它的水柱噴射隨著光線與音樂舞動，每到夏季的夜晚，當噴泉開始表演的時候，都會吸引眾多游客駐足觀看。
