gamma函數

gamma到底是個什么鬼

工作許多年，積累小知識。

身為顯示行業(yè)的人，對于gamma，應該是爛熟于心！但是對于那些還沒有從事，或者即將從事顯示行業(yè)的人，卻不一定那么熟悉了！

不過我敢說，就算有些人身為顯示行業(yè)中，也不一定知道gamma是什么。

那么gamma是什么呢？

聽起來好高大上，gamma，伽馬？伽馬射線？哦哦，它是一種電磁波！

別胡思亂想了，我看你是物理學多了。

那么gamma這個玩意到底是什么呢？我就和大家嘮一嘮，這家伙到底是什么。

其實說起gamma，需要從兩個角度去說明，第一是人眼對亮度的分辨程度，第二是灰階。

人眼對亮度的分辨程度

每個人的眼睛對亮度的分辨都是有一些不同的，那么結構呢？

那，眼睛就是這樣的，這個沒有看出來什么不同??！你說的很對。

人的眼睛構造都是一樣的，但是感覺細胞卻是很奇怪，每個人都會有一點點的差別，但是大眾的眼睛感覺也都差不多，除了一些色盲色弱的人。

什么感覺細胞呢？也就是說對于明暗的識別程度，聽起來還想有點費解，明暗的識別程度？這個是什么呢，也有人說：明暗這個怎么定義呢，暗到什么程度，明到什么程度。

下面我就和大家說一個標準nit，也就是亮度的單位，1nit=1cd/m2，如果你再說cd/m2你都不知道是什么意思的話，請恕我罵人了，你可以回爐重造了。

實在真不懂，那就翻翻書。

亮度是有單位的，也就是nit，一般身為顯示行業(yè)的人，nit的定義都是知道的，也都是很熟悉很常見的。

那明暗的識別程度怎么說呢？

咱們先假設一個場景：讓你去看一個發(fā)光的物體，這個物體的亮度是500nit，好亮啊，嗯嗯，確實好亮，但如果這個物體此時上升1nit，變成了501nit，然后逐漸變化，502nit，503nit，不變了，你看著，沒什么變化嗎？

額，，，完全沒什么變化，沒看出來。

那給你三個物體，分別500nit，501nit，502nit，放到一塊對比，你去看他的亮暗程度，仍然沒有看出來有什么變化，是啊，這么小的亮度的變化根本看不出來啊，于是咱們下了個結論，亮度變化太小，低于3nit，根本看不出來。

那么咱在看一個場景：在弄一個亮的發(fā)光體，它的亮度1nit，逐漸變亮，變成2nit的時候，你就叫停了，因為什么，你發(fā)現了它的亮度變化。

??？才1nit的變化，就發(fā)現了？你不信，你可以去做個實驗。真理是經得起實驗檢驗的，下面我們繼續(xù)說。你仍可以拿出兩個發(fā)光體，分別1nit和2nit，對比一下，估計你看的會更明顯。

這個結論是不是把剛才的結論推翻了，3nit都看不到變化，這個1nit就看到了。哎呀，好像是推翻了哎，你是不是發(fā)現了什么？

如果你發(fā)現，我也就不說你笨了，我也沒發(fā)現。

你想想，亮度變化1nit，能發(fā)現，亮度變化3nit，有沒有發(fā)現，這個意味著什么？觀察亮度的變化是有條件的！

也就是說，我們的眼睛在看暗的東西分別力比較強，在看比較明的東西時，分辨力變弱了。這個也就是我剛才說的我們的眼睛的特點，它對明暗的分辨力不同。記住這個是重點，gamma就是因為有人眼對明暗的分辨能力來的，如果人眼對明暗的分辨程度是一樣的話，估計也就沒有gamma了。不過也可能有，但定義估計不是這個樣子了。

灰階

說完了人眼睛的特性，那就說一說灰階，灰階是什么呢？那就得從顯示器說起。也就是我們所說的LCD的屏幕或者OLED屏幕，說白了就是手機屏，電腦屏、電視屏幕。

顯示器也有這樣一個特性，它的亮度可不是連續(xù)的，雖然你看著他是連續(xù)的，但實際上并不是這樣，只是它的亮度變化間隔很小而已，每一個變化都會有一個亮度和他對應，這個亮度，咱們也給他有一個定義，就是灰階?；译A是人為規(guī)定的。

灰階，顯示行業(yè)的也都清楚，目前我們的顯示屏一共有256個灰階，也就是所說的0-255灰階，每一個灰階都對應一個亮度，也就是說，在全亮是一定的情況下，每一個灰階都對應一個固定的亮度，而這個亮度卻是人為規(guī)定的，可以根據人的意愿隨意改動，當然想要做出好的顯示屏幕，這個亮度可不能隨意規(guī)定，需要根據一個標準去規(guī)定，這個我們在下一節(jié)在講述。

這個亮度該怎么去規(guī)定呢，如果我們不根據gamma2.2去規(guī)定，可以隨意去規(guī)定，那么，這個對亮度在256灰階內的規(guī)定就叫做gamma。

聽起來還是沒有明白啊，隨意規(guī)定就叫gamma？好難啊，完全沒懂啊。

如果，一個屏幕最亮的是256nit，那么我可以給它規(guī)定每一個灰階是1nit，也就是0灰階對應1nit，1灰階對應2nit，2灰階對應3nit......255灰階對應256nit。一一對應，這個是一種分配方式。

我也可以不這樣分配，我0灰階對應0.5nit，1灰階對應1nit，中間并不是線性對應，，也能把256個灰階和256nit完全對應完，這個又是一種分配方式。

當然我有很多種對應方式，可以說這個把亮度分配到256種灰階中的分配方式有太多種的，我想怎么分都可以（不考慮人眼特性的話），那么這種分配方式，我們就叫做gamma。

這樣說估計大家應該就懂了，目的就是讓大家知道什么是gamma。
