一、攝影藝術(shù)通過(guò)構(gòu)圖、取景位置與角度、光線(xiàn)的處理等造型技法，表現(xiàn)主題內(nèi)容審美藝術(shù)性。攝影藝術(shù)要求表現(xiàn)的人物、事件、環(huán)境必須是真實(shí)的，它只能表現(xiàn)現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中各方面的題材，而不能表現(xiàn)已經(jīng)過(guò)去或尚為發(fā)生的事件。攝影主要有構(gòu)圖、光線(xiàn)、色調(diào)的造型手段，形成畫(huà)面的內(nèi)容和形式。

二、繪畫(huà)是運(yùn)用構(gòu)圖、色彩、線(xiàn)條來(lái)表現(xiàn)畫(huà)面的造型藝術(shù)。繪畫(huà)作品是通過(guò)細(xì)致的觀察，以特有的筆觸重疊來(lái)表現(xiàn)物象的光與色。物體除了受到光源色的直接照射外，還受到周?chē)h(huán)境中其他物體的色彩照射與影響。物體亮面因強(qiáng)烈的光源色照射，其他物體色的影響顯得微弱，而在暗部，其他物體色的影響則較顯著。

三、攝影和繪畫(huà)，它們之間是相互聯(lián)系、區(qū)別、借鑒的統(tǒng)一，它們是視覺(jué)造型審美的藝術(shù)，是共同發(fā)展和繁榮的藝術(shù)形式。雖然攝影和繪畫(huà)所用的工具和材料不同，如攝影有攝影機(jī)、感光介質(zhì)、成像透鏡、膠片等；繪畫(huà)有畫(huà)板畫(huà)架、畫(huà)紙、畫(huà)筆、顏料等。但是它們之間有共同之處，都是表現(xiàn)視覺(jué)效果的造型藝術(shù)，表達(dá)了藝術(shù)家思想情感的個(gè)性風(fēng)格。攝影和繪畫(huà)具有視覺(jué)效果的藝術(shù)美感，是吸引人們感官的審美情趣，給人們以視覺(jué)感觸到心靈的藝術(shù)美感。
