自旋鎖：當(dāng)進(jìn)程進(jìn)入CPU運(yùn)行時(shí)，就會(huì)給它的代碼上鎖，以免別的CPU中的進(jìn)程修改里面的代碼（不排除CPU給別的CPU上鎖這樣的情況，以后會(huì)討論到。）。所謂子旋鎖就是這樣的一把鎖：進(jìn)程A進(jìn)入CPU，鎖上門運(yùn)行，進(jìn)程B來到CPU前，發(fā)現(xiàn)門被鎖上了，于是等待進(jìn)程A出來交出開鎖鑰匙。

什么是條件鎖，讀寫鎖，自旋鎖，可重入鎖？

自旋鎖(Spin lock)

自旋鎖與互斥鎖有點(diǎn)類似，只是自旋鎖不會(huì)引起調(diào)用者睡眠，如果自旋鎖已經(jīng)被別的執(zhí)行單元保持，調(diào)用者就一直循環(huán)在那里看是

否該自旋鎖的保持者已經(jīng)釋放了鎖，"自旋"一詞就是因此而得名。其作用是為了解決某項(xiàng)資源的互斥使用。因?yàn)樽孕i不會(huì)引起調(diào)用者睡眠，所以自旋鎖的效率遠(yuǎn)

高于互斥鎖。雖然它的效率比互斥鎖高，但是它也有些不足之處：

1、自旋鎖一直占用CPU，他在未獲得鎖的情況下，一直運(yùn)行－－自旋，所以占用著CPU，如果不能在很短的時(shí) 間內(nèi)獲得鎖，這無疑會(huì)使CPU效率降低。

2、在用自旋鎖時(shí)有可能造成死鎖，當(dāng)遞歸調(diào)用時(shí)有可能造成死鎖，調(diào)用有些其他函數(shù)也可能造成死鎖，如 copy_to_user()、copy_from_user()、kmalloc()等。

因此我們要慎重使用自旋鎖，自旋鎖只有在內(nèi)核可搶占式或SMP的情況下才真正需要，在單CPU且不可搶占式的內(nèi)核下，自旋鎖的操作為空操作。自旋鎖適用于鎖使用者保持鎖時(shí)間比較短的情況下。

兩種鎖的加鎖原理

互斥鎖：線程會(huì)從sleep（加鎖）——>running（解鎖），過程中有上下文的切換，cpu的搶占，信號(hào)的發(fā)送等開銷。

自旋鎖：線程一直是running(加鎖——>解鎖)，死循環(huán)檢測(cè)鎖的標(biāo)志位，機(jī)制不復(fù)雜。

互斥鎖屬于sleep-waiting類型的鎖。例如在一個(gè)雙核的機(jī)器上有兩個(gè)線程(線程A和線程B)，它們分別運(yùn)行在Core0和

Core1上。假設(shè)線程A想要通過pthread_mutex_lock操作去得到一個(gè)臨界區(qū)的鎖，而此時(shí)這個(gè)鎖正被線程B所持有，那么線程A就會(huì)被阻塞

(blocking)，Core0 會(huì)在此時(shí)進(jìn)行上下文切換(Context

Switch)將線程A置于等待隊(duì)列中，此時(shí)Core0就可以運(yùn)行其他的任務(wù)(例如另一個(gè)線程C)而不必進(jìn)行忙等待。而自旋鎖則不然，它屬于busy-waiting類型的鎖，如果線程A是使用pthread_spin_lock操作去請(qǐng)求鎖，那么線程A就會(huì)一直在

兩種鎖的區(qū)別

互斥鎖的起始原始開銷要高于自旋鎖，但是基本是一勞永逸，臨界區(qū)持鎖時(shí)間的大小并不會(huì)對(duì)互斥鎖的開銷造成影響，而自旋鎖是死循環(huán)檢測(cè)，加鎖全程消耗cpu，起始開銷雖然低于互斥鎖，但是隨著持鎖時(shí)間，加鎖的開銷是線性增長。

互斥鎖用于臨界區(qū)持鎖時(shí)間比較長的操作，比如下面這些情況都可以考慮

4 單核處理器

至于自旋鎖就主要用在臨界區(qū)持鎖時(shí)間非常短且CPU資源不緊張的情況下，自旋鎖一般用于多核的服務(wù)器。

2）synchronized在發(fā)生異常時(shí)，會(huì)自動(dòng)釋放線程占有的鎖，因此不會(huì)導(dǎo)致死鎖現(xiàn)象發(fā)生；而Lock在發(fā)生異常時(shí)，如果沒有主動(dòng)通過unLock()去釋放鎖，則很可能造成死鎖現(xiàn)象，因此使用Lock時(shí)需要在finally塊中釋放鎖；

3）Lock可以讓等待鎖的線程響應(yīng)中斷，而synchronized卻不行，使用synchronized時(shí)，等待的線程會(huì)一直等待下去，不能夠響應(yīng)中斷；

4）通過Lock可以知道有沒有成功獲取鎖，而synchronized卻無法辦到。

5）Lock可以提高多個(gè)線程進(jìn)行讀操作的效率。

在性能上來說，如果競(jìng)爭(zhēng)資源不激烈，兩者的性能是差不多的，而當(dāng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)資源非常激烈時(shí)（即有大量線程同時(shí)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)），此時(shí)Lock的性能要遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)優(yōu)于synchronized。所以說，在具體使用時(shí)要根據(jù)適當(dāng)情況選擇。

兩者在鎖的相關(guān)概念上區(qū)別：

1.可重入鎖

如果鎖具備可重入性，則稱作為可重入鎖。像synchronized和ReentrantLock都是可重入鎖，可重入性在我看來實(shí)際上表明了鎖的分配機(jī)制：基于線程的分配，而不是基于方法調(diào)用的分配。舉個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的例子，當(dāng)一個(gè)線程執(zhí)行到某個(gè)synchronized方法時(shí)，比如說method1，而在method1中會(huì)調(diào)用另外一個(gè)synchronized方法method2，此時(shí)線程不必重新去申請(qǐng)鎖，而是可以直接執(zhí)行方法method2。

看下面這段代碼就明白了：

上述代碼中的兩個(gè)方法method1和method2都用synchronized修飾了，假如某一時(shí)刻，線程A執(zhí)行到了method1，此時(shí)線程A獲取了這個(gè)對(duì)象的鎖，而由于method2也是synchronized方法，假如synchronized不具備可重入性，此時(shí)線程A需要重新申請(qǐng)鎖。但是這就會(huì)造成一個(gè)問題，因?yàn)榫€程A已經(jīng)持有了該對(duì)象的鎖，而又在申請(qǐng)獲取該對(duì)象的鎖，這樣就會(huì)線程A一直等待永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)獲取到的鎖。

而由于synchronized和Lock都具備可重入性，所以不會(huì)發(fā)生上述現(xiàn)象。

2.可中斷鎖

可中斷鎖：顧名思義，就是可以相應(yīng)中斷的鎖。

在Java中，synchronized就不是可中斷鎖，而Lock是可中斷鎖。

如果某一線程A正在執(zhí)行鎖中的代碼，另一線程B正在等待獲取該鎖，可能由于等待時(shí)間過長，線程B不想等待了，想先處理其他事情，我們可以讓它中斷自己或者在別的線程中中斷它，這種就是可中斷鎖。

在前面演示lockInterruptibly()的用法時(shí)已經(jīng)體現(xiàn)了Lock的可中斷性。

3.公平鎖

公平鎖即盡量以請(qǐng)求鎖的順序來獲取鎖。比如同是有多個(gè)線程在等待一個(gè)鎖，當(dāng)這個(gè)鎖被釋放時(shí)，等待時(shí)間最久的線程（最先請(qǐng)求的線程）會(huì)獲得該所，這種就是公平鎖。

非公平鎖即無法保證鎖的獲取是按照請(qǐng)求鎖的順序進(jìn)行的。這樣就可能導(dǎo)致某個(gè)或者一些線程永遠(yuǎn)獲取不到鎖。

在Java中，synchronized就是非公平鎖，它無法保證等待的線程獲取鎖的順序。

而對(duì)于ReentrantLock和ReentrantReadWriteLock，它默認(rèn)情況下是非公平鎖，但是可以設(shè)置為公平鎖。

看一下這2個(gè)類的源代碼就清楚了：

在ReentrantLock中定義了2個(gè)靜態(tài)內(nèi)部類，一個(gè)是NotFairSync，一個(gè)是FairSync，分別用來實(shí)現(xiàn)非公平鎖和公平鎖。

我們可以在創(chuàng)建ReentrantLock對(duì)象時(shí)，通過以下方式來設(shè)置鎖的公平性：

如果參數(shù)為true表示為公平鎖，為fasle為非公平鎖。默認(rèn)情況下，如果使用無參構(gòu)造器，則是非公平鎖。

另外在ReentrantLock類中定義了很多方法，比如：

isFair() //判斷鎖是否是公平鎖

isLocked() //判斷鎖是否被任何線程獲取了

isHeldByCurrentThread() //判斷鎖是否被當(dāng)前線程獲取了

hasQueuedThreads() //判斷是否有線程在等待該鎖

在ReentrantReadWriteLock中也有類似的方法，同樣也可以設(shè)置為公平鎖和非公平鎖。不過要記住，ReentrantReadWriteLock并未實(shí)現(xiàn)Lock接口，它實(shí)現(xiàn)的是ReadWriteLock接口。

4.讀寫鎖

讀寫鎖將對(duì)一個(gè)資源（比如文件）的訪問分成了2個(gè)鎖，一個(gè)讀鎖和一個(gè)寫鎖。

正因?yàn)橛辛俗x寫鎖，才使得多個(gè)線程之間的讀操作不會(huì)發(fā)生沖突。

ReadWriteLock就是讀寫鎖，它是一個(gè)接口，ReentrantReadWriteLock實(shí)現(xiàn)了這個(gè)接口。

可以通過readLock()獲取讀鎖，通過writeLock()獲取寫鎖。

性能比較

在JDK1.5中，synchronized是性能低效的。因?yàn)檫@是一個(gè)重量級(jí)操作，它對(duì)性能最大的影響是阻塞的是實(shí)現(xiàn)，掛起線程和恢復(fù)線程的操作都需要轉(zhuǎn)入內(nèi)核態(tài)中完成，這些操作給系統(tǒng)的并發(fā)性帶來了很大的壓力。相比之下使用Java提供的Lock對(duì)象，性能更高一些。Brian

Goetz對(duì)這兩種鎖在JDK1.5、單核處理器及雙Xeon處理器環(huán)境下做了一組吞吐量對(duì)比的實(shí)驗(yàn)，發(fā)現(xiàn)多線程環(huán)境下，synchronized的吞吐量下降的非常嚴(yán)重，而ReentrankLock則能基本保持在同一個(gè)比較穩(wěn)定的水平上。但與其說ReetrantLock性能好，倒不如說synchronized還有非常大的優(yōu)化余地，于是到了JDK1.6，發(fā)生了變化，對(duì)synchronize加入了很多優(yōu)化措施，有自適應(yīng)自旋，鎖消除，鎖粗化，輕量級(jí)鎖，偏向鎖等等。導(dǎo)致在JDK1.6上synchronize的性能并不比Lock差。官方也表示，他們也更支持synchronize，在未來的版本中還有優(yōu)化余地，所以還是提倡在synchronized能實(shí)現(xiàn)需求的情況下，優(yōu)先考慮使用synchronized來進(jìn)行同步。
