TSI

TSI（渦輪機(jī)械增壓燃油分層噴射發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)）的設(shè)計(jì)非常巧妙，它實(shí)際上是把一個(gè)渦輪增壓器(Turbocharger)和機(jī)械增壓器(Supercharger)一起裝到一臺(tái)發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)里面。

TSI中的T不是指Turbocharger而是Twincharger（雙增壓）的意思。上文我們講到渦輪增壓發(fā)動(dòng)在較低和較高轉(zhuǎn)速時(shí)都有一個(gè)動(dòng)力的空擋，為了進(jìn)一步提高發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的效率，增加一個(gè)機(jī)械增壓裝置，并讓它在低轉(zhuǎn)速時(shí)加大進(jìn)氣壓力。

而渦輪增壓器的尺寸可以再大一些，去彌補(bǔ)高轉(zhuǎn)速時(shí)的動(dòng)力空擋，從而達(dá)到一個(gè)從低到高轉(zhuǎn)速的全段優(yōu)異動(dòng)力表現(xiàn)。

TFSI

TFSI（渦輪增壓燃油分層噴射發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)），這個(gè)比FSI多出來(lái)的T字代表的則是渦輪增壓（Turbocharger），而發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)本身也的確是在FSI發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的基礎(chǔ)上增加了一個(gè)渦輪增壓器。

渦輪增壓是利用發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)排出的高溫高壓的廢氣推動(dòng)渦輪高速轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)，再帶動(dòng)進(jìn)氣渦輪壓縮進(jìn)氣，提高空氣密度，同時(shí)電腦控制增大噴油量，配合高密度的進(jìn)氣，因此可以在排量不變的條件下提高發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)工作效率。

由于渦輪增壓器是靠排氣推動(dòng)的，因此在發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)速低時(shí)渦輪并不工作。但在這個(gè)時(shí)候渦輪還是轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)的，只是排氣壓力不夠，達(dá)不到增大進(jìn)氣壓力的效果。隨著轉(zhuǎn)速的上升（約1500轉(zhuǎn)或以上），排氣壓力逐漸加大渦輪就進(jìn)入了正常的工作狀態(tài)，達(dá)到增壓的目的和效果。
