2、amber為什么改名了？

Amber改名是因為在2018年，Ruby China社區(qū)成員發(fā)現(xiàn)了一個名為Amber的開源項目，這個項目使用了Ruby編程語言，是一個Web框架。而原本我們所熟知的Amber也是一個編程語言和系統(tǒng)，并且已經(jīng)存在了30多年，它主要用于嵌入式系統(tǒng)和實時控制領(lǐng)域。

為了避免混淆，當時官方?jīng)Q定將Amber更名為TideSDK。TideSDK是一個基于Web技術(shù)的桌面應(yīng)用程序開發(fā)平臺，可以幫助開發(fā)者使用JavaScript、HTML、CSS等Web前端技術(shù)來開發(fā)桌面應(yīng)用程序。

之后，在2019年的時候，TideSDK又被改名為Photon，同時，官方也放棄了對TideSDK和Amber的任何商標權(quán)和版權(quán)。目前，Amber編程語言和系統(tǒng)的命名和發(fā)展正在由社區(qū)繼續(xù)推進。
