新幾內(nèi)亞高地

新幾內(nèi)亞高地（New Guinea Highlands），也被稱為中央嶺或中央山脈，是新幾內(nèi)亞島中部一系列山脈和山間河谷的總稱。高地西起極樂鳥半島，東至巴布亞半島，自西向東綿延超過1600公里，在河谷中部有許多蓬勃發(fā)展的農(nóng)業(yè)區(qū)。該高地所在的新幾內(nèi)亞島在政治上分屬印度尼西亞（西部）和巴布亞新幾內(nèi)亞（東部）兩國。
