1. MySQL的統(tǒng)計信息非常少，只有表行數(shù)和索引列的唯一值數(shù)目，這使得MySQL的優(yōu)化器經(jīng)常不能對數(shù)據(jù)規(guī)模有一個正確的認識而給出性能不佳的執(zhí)行計劃。

2. MySQL的join操作的效率非常依賴于索引(我之前兩次幫人調(diào)優(yōu)MySQL的SQL語句都是在加索引)。并不是說PG的join不需要索引，只是不像MySQL缺了索引的反應(yīng)那么大。上面那個MySQL執(zhí)行了1分多鐘的例子，加上索引后，不管是MySQL還是PG的執(zhí)行時間都立刻降到10毫秒以內(nèi)。所以，開發(fā)人員在設(shè)計表的時候應(yīng)該對可能的查詢方式做個評估，把該建的索引都建上（不能少建也不宜多建）。
