WAP（Wireless Application Protocol）無線應(yīng)用協(xié)議是一個(gè)開放式標(biāo)準(zhǔn)協(xié)議，利用它可以把網(wǎng)絡(luò)上的信息傳送到移動(dòng)電話或其他無線通訊終端上。

WAP是由愛立信（Ericsson）、諾基亞（Nokia）、摩托羅拉（Motorola）等通信業(yè)巨頭在1997年成立的無線應(yīng)用協(xié)議論壇（WAP Forum）中所制定的。

可以把網(wǎng)絡(luò)上的信息傳送到移動(dòng)電話或其它無線通訊終端上。它使用一種類似于HTML的標(biāo)記式語言WML（Wireless Markup Language不是無線標(biāo)記語言），相當(dāng)于國(guó)際互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上的HTML（超文件標(biāo)記語言）并可通過WAP Gateway直接訪問一般的網(wǎng)頁。
