About BBox
Getting Started with BBox Audio Player
To get you on the road as quickly as we can, we will explain how to jumpstart BBox.
INSTALLATION
Softoxi has created an installation instruction video. To watch that video click here.
After BBox is installed on your system, you might want to add music files to the BBox library.
There are several ways to accomplish that:
PLAYING FILES
To start playback, simply doubleclick on a file in the BBox music library.
To play a file that is not added to the BBox music library you can do the following:
After the file is played BBox selects the next file to play based on the selected random settings.
To prevent BBox from automatically playing the next file you can clear the checkbox in the Advanced player controls.
This is a great feature if you're not aiming on playing an entire list of tracks. It's a vital feature and considering it's now featured on everything from phones to hi-fi
systems, it seems only logical to include it. The Advanced player controls also contain a variety of other options, so feel free to play around and find a setting you're comfortable with.
LINE UP FILES FOR PLAYBACK
The queue can be used to line up the songs to be played next by BBox.
To add files to the queue you can select one or more files in the music library, right click on the selected file(s) and choose "Enqueue selection". Alternatively, you can drag & drop one or more files from the music library to the queue.
